Siemens Laserworks Inc. is a privately held, custom manufacturer of components and sub-assemblies - we service a very diverse range of OEM’s.  Our customer base includes manufacturers in the agricultural, computer and electronics, oil and gas, high technologies, and industrial product sectors.

Siemens Laserworks has enjoyed rapid growth since our inception in 1996 when we started with only one laser and four employees. Today Siemens Laserworks employs over 300 people using the most technologically-advanced fabrication equipment available anywhere in the world.  Our current equipment list includes 16 lasers (ranging in complexity from three-axis flat sheet machines to multi-axis 3D machines capable of cutting pipe and  tube), 6 CNC punch machines, 10 CNC press brakes, 3 multi-axis machining centers, CNC and digital plate rolls, multi-head Oxy/Plasma, and an abundance of other standard and specialized fabrication equipment.

Our manufacturing facilities include our head office, located in Saskatoon, SK, with over 50,000 sq ft; our Calgary, AB facility with 10,000 sq ft; our 3D production facility in Edmonton, AB with 45,000 sq ft, our Regina, SK facility with 29,000 sq ft, and our newest facility in Winnipeg, MB (opening September 2009) with 25,000 sq ft.

At Siemens Laserworks we operate on a 24/7 production rotation and focus our manufacturing activities on maintaining a LEAN ethic.  Value added services include the supply of components to our customer's production lines in KIT format or in specially designed KANBAN pull systems which significantly reduce (or eliminate) the need for inventory.  Siemens can provide vendor-managed supply systems and/or can assist in setting up efficient pull systems for automatic replenishment of component requirements.  Our 4 manufacturing facilities are connected using our daily "trucking pipeline", providing our customers with total redundancy while allowing the ability to uitilize specialized equipment from each facility in all geographic areas, without sacrificing lead-times to our customers.
